BLUE IN MODERN CULTURE

In modern politics BLUE is clearly emerging as the color associated with UNITY.

  • THE UNITED NATIONS - UN FLAG Color is BLUE: the color of UNITY and coming together for the good of mankind.

  • THE EUROPEAN UNION - EU FLAG also BLUE and in 2009 the EU introduced "THE BLUE CARD" (similar to US's Green Card).

  • THE UNITED STATES - Red States vs. BLUE States.  Blue symbolizing more liberal and socially conscious states.
- The color of the Democratic Party is BLUE and was highly emphasized in all the logos and marketing while associating it with "A New Generation of Hope."

BLUE is also emerging as the color associated with modern technology.
Some examples include:

  • BLU RAY DISC (BD) - Blue Ray won the format war over HD DVD.  In spirituality the blue ray is one of the three flames that reside within the secret chamber of the heart as part of the Three-fold Flame, which is central to God's divine spark and workings with us.

  • BLUETOOTH -Bluetooth provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones and laptops.  Bluetooth was named after a tenth-century king,Harald Bluetooth who was known for his unification of previously warring tribes from Denmark and Norway. Bluetooth likewise was intended to unify different technologies, such as personal computers and mobile phones.
